Filing for positions on various committees in The Woodlands, including village associations and the residential design review committee, will begin Dec. 30 and run through 5 p.m. Jan. 20 for the February election. Forms may be obtained at www.thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov; from village association presidents; or at Town Hall, located at 2801 Technology Forest Blvd., The Woodlands.
Residents and property owners age 18 and older may file.
More than 100 positions available include:
Residential design review committee
Up to five committee members will be elected for each village, all serving one-year terms.
Alden Bridge Village Association
- nine at-large area representatives (two-year term)
Cochran’s Crossing Village Association
- 18 at-large area representatives (one-year term)
College Park Village Association
- vice president (two-year term)
- treasurer (two-year term)
- nine at-large area representatives (one-year term)
Creekside Park Village Association
- vice president (two-year term)
- treasurer (two-year term)
- events co-chair (two-year term)
- 10 at-large area representatives (one-year term)
Grogan’s Mill Village Association
- eight at-large area representatives (two-year term)
Indian Springs Village Association
- vice president (two-year term)
- treasurer (two-year term)
- seven at-large area representatives (two-year term)
Panther Creek Village Association
- nine at-large area representatives (two-year term)
Sterling Ridge Village Association
- seven at-large area directors (two-year term)
Voting takes place voting from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Feb. 14-18 and from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. election day Feb. 19.
