Looking to make a striking statement in your kitchen or bath? Cambria, the Minnesota-based and world-renowned quartz giant, recently added four fresh designs and a new finish (called Satin Ridge, a blend between the brand’s high-gloss and matte finishes) to its portfolio of high-quality quartz offerings.
Inspired by the concept of a “quintessential summer vacation,” the designs intend to “invoke journeys taken, moments experienced, and memories created” during the summer season, according to a press release. The four new options (which include Sandgate, Hemsworth, Halewood, and Leabridge) stun with their “textured ridges, flecks of silver, cascading black veining, abundant swirls, and charcoal gray veins.”
The ever-versatile Sandgate, for instance, is designed to “mimic the surface of a favorite childhood beach or treasured memory.” The material’s depth and dimension are enhanced by large silver flecks, calming neutrals, and earthy hues. “Sandgate is not meant to be the star of the show,” Cambria’s executive vice president of design Summer Kath says. “It can be used anywhere and everywhere because it’s beautiful and complements any style.”
Boasting black veining and a cool white background, the Hemsworth design is timeless yet trendy, while Halewood—a beige, wheat-toned option with swirls of dark gray—was “inspired by earth tones and the color palette of the wilderness, mountains, and desert,” Kath says. (Brown is back in 2021, haven’t you heard?)
Finally, Cambria’s Leabridge design is not only new, but it also exclusively features the brand’s new Satin Ridge finish. “Cool white and warm honey with borders of textured ridges” define this shimmery selection, which is “reminiscent of salt flats in Utah.”
“We’re energized by the possibilities of this new finish,” Kath says of Satin Ridge. “And we’re looking forward to seeing the applications you discover and how this might awaken your sense of place.”
