Separate sealed Bids for the construction of the Well 6 Replacement Project located in Wellington, Nevada will be received by Topaz Ranch Estates General Improvement District, the Owner, at the office of the Owner, 1490 Albite Road, Suite 8, Wellington, NV 89444 until 2:00 PM local time, on August 16, 2022. The Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud.
The Work generally includes the following: furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment, tools, transportation, and services for the drilling and construction, development, and production testing of one gravel envelope municipal water supply well including drilling and logging of the borehole of to an anticipated depth of 450 feet, sanitary seal and conductor, 8 inch blank casing, 8 inch SS screen, 8 inch SS blank casing, gravel pack, sounding tube, well development and testing, and all related appurtenances.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form.

The Contract Documents can be viewed and then purchased on line for $15.00 through Quest CDN. The link can be found on the Shaw Engineering website under “Bidding” at https://shawengineering.com. The Engineer will record only those parties who have obtained the Contract Documents through Quest CDN and are listed on the plan holders list.
A pre bid conference will be held at 10:00 AM on August 9, 2022 beginning at the offices of the Owner. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
The Owner is an equal opportunity provider and employer. Bidders are to base their Bids on the Project funding being provided in whole or in part by the Owner and the State of Nevada Capital Improvements Grant Program. State Wage Rates are applicable on the Project.
