Easton real estate market continues to be hot, with Centre Square building sold for $7.45 million | Lehigh Valley Regional News

EASTON, Pa. – Easton real estate continues to bring in more investment, with the former Wells Fargo building in Centre Square building going for $7.45 million.

Northampton County property records show that 16 Centre Square was sold as of Jan. 21. The One 6 Flats building is five stories high with 28 rental units.

One 6 was developed by brothers Brandon and Garrett Benner. The apartments have floor-to-ceiling windows, some with views of Centre Square and others looking toward the Lehigh River and Phillipsburg.

Brandon Benner cited the growth in Easton when he discussed the project in 2017.

“Incredible restaurants, the Easton public market, the retail down here,” he said. “There’s a lot happening, and it’s an exciting place to be.”

The buyer is listed as Easton Kirso, a limited-liability corporation based in Staten Island, New York.

The One 6 development team acquired the building in 2015 for $1.65 million, according to county records, and its value has increased more than four-fold since then. Other properties in and near Centre Square have also jumped in price.
