After setting up its first Scottish outlet in Edinburgh and its pilot Vancouver branch in the Canadian province of British Columbia, Jollibee’s world domination — ahem, expansion — continues in Australia.
Australia’s PhilTimes reported that the first Jollibee in Australia will be constructed in the Sydney suburb of Campbelltown, located 56 kilometers west of the metropolitan area in New South Wales.
The outlet’s pre-construction development plans are reportedly in progress.
Preliminary drawings from the design firm Progetto Design indicate that the first Aussie Jollibee branch will also include a drive-thru.
Jollibee Campbelltown will also reportedly be adjacent to Krispy Kreme and Taco Bell outlets within the same compound.
Some 310,000 Filipinos live in Australia as of 2020, with its largest population in New South Wales at 94,100 according to the 2016 census.
