Schwartz Sladkus Reich Greenberg Atlas LLP (SSRGA), a leading New York City-based full-service law firm, has expanded its existing 33,000-square-foot lease at 444 Madison Avenue by 12,000 square feet, bringing its total presence in the building to a total of 45,000 square feet.

SSRGA will occupy the entire sixth floor and portions of the fifth and seventh floors of
444 Madison Avenue, all of which will be interconnected by internal stairwells. The firm
is now 444 Madison’s anchor tenant and has also extended its existing lease to be
coterminous with the 10-year lease for the new space.

SSRGA’s practice areas include real estate, real estate development, cooperative and
condominium board representation, real estate-related and commercial litigation, health care, matrimonial, family law, appellate law, reproductive law, trusts and estates,
probate administration, not-for-profit, corporate, landlord/tenant, financing, intellectual
property and insurance.

The 42-story 444 Madison Avenue was designed by Kohn, Vitolo & Knight. The Art
Deco building occupies an entire blockfront in Midtown and offers unobstructed views of Saint Patrick’s Cathedral and the New York Palace Hotel.

“SSRGA’s growing presence at 444 Madison will advance our efforts to attract industry-
leading talent,” said Jeffrey M. Schwartz, co-founder and managing partner at SSRGA.
“This space accommodates our continued growth, supports firm culture and facilitates
collaboration between attorneys.”

“State-of-the-art technology throughout our office, welcoming lounges and innovative
collaboration space enable our team to customize their work experience and optimize
their productivity,” said Steven D. Sladkus, co-founder and partner at SSRGA. “We have
more than doubled in size in the seven years since we founded the firm, and we look
forward to further growth at 444 Madison.”

Representing SSRGA in the transaction was Mitchell Konsker, vice chairman, with JLL.
Paul Amrich, vice chairman, and Meghan Allen, vice president with CBRE represented
the landlord.

SSRGA recently expanded to South Florida, merging with two firms there and establishing an office in Boca Raton. This expansion brought appellate law, administrative law and criminal appeals to SSRGA’s existing practice areas.
