seba morales explores architecture in ‘archway bench & chair’

‘Archway Bench & Chair’ by seba morales

3D artist Seba Morales presents the ‘Archway Bench & Chair,’ an imagined furniture set combining architectural curves with seating design. The project first launched in 2018 with initial iterations of a chair model. Not long after, Morales expanded his work to include a bench. Today, presented side by side, the sculptural pieces reveal a colorful gradient reminiscent of sunset hues.

When describing his approach to art, he writes: ‘I like to play around with objects and their morphology, experiment with the way that light can change the mood of a scene, generate almost touchable CGI textures, always searching an original way to tell a story.’

a multifaceted, clean design

For the ‘Archway Bench & Chair’, Seba Morales maintained a clean, minimalist design that highlights the presence of ‘archways’ shaping the legs of each piece. Even more, both coloring and silhouette take on vastly different qualities when captured from different angles and sides.

Beyond exploring architecture in furniture design, the 3D artist also takes to the digital world to visually translate universal concepts like dreams, milestones, loneliness, curiosity, and everything in between. He also experiments with art across human history (antiquity in the digital era). You can follow Seba Morales’ work on Instagram or by visiting his website
