Following the huge success of Tinker Island 1, the sequel Tinker Island 2 is now available. The survival adventure title is set on a tropical island with the idea of managing a group of shipwreck survivors who try to survive and eventually plan on escaping the island. Tinker Island 1 was released in 2016 and blew up the charts with its unique game style, quirky gameplay and not to forget the important ingredient the amount of pixel goodness the game carried with it.
All interactions in the game will be via the same journal as the first version. The game will follow the old multiple-choice based questions to progress forward with users being able to build a base, explore mysterious caves, or craft things. Survivors also wander around the island fighting monsters, exploring new locations in search of food or treasures.
Tinker Island 2 brings in some improved mechanisms
Tinker Island 2 is said to have improvements on energy limit of characters and also improved fighting mechanics. New attack and defense styles and new building designs are also some of the improvements claimed by Tricky Studio. Although the game takes its own time to get done with the tasks, the simplicity combined with the exceedingly interesting interface makes it worth the time.
Tinker Island 2: A highly anticipated game in the survival category now available on Android and iOS
Slovenia-based developers from Tricky Studio have made Tinker Island 2 follow the same course of the previous version of the game, mainly because the text-based game book-like interface became instantly popular among gamers in the first version. Survival games are extremely popular in the gaming community, but there are thousands of such games on the internet, what made Tinker Island popular was its slightly unique formula which was welcomed by the community.
The success of Tinker Island 1 was also largely based on the style with which the content of the game was delivered to the users, with the use of a chat-like interface and multiple choice questions where the players had to uncover over 60 different locations in the game. Tricky Tribe has now decided to introduce new features and options to keep the users glued to the experience.
Tinker Island 2 is now available on the Google Play Store and the App Store. For more details, players can visit the game’s official website.
