Twenty years after launching the “Peek at the Unique” home tour, the Zonta Club of Sanibel-Captiva announced the latest incarnation of its annual fundraiser — “Peek at the Unique Home Trends.”

Set for March 19 from 9 a.m. a.m. to noon at The Community House on Sanibel, it will focus on the use of interior and outdoor living spaces and current trends in home design, construction, decor and landscaping. Local providers will discuss their expertise and share the latest techniques, knowledge and insider information. The program will include a question-and-answer session, plus a buffet brunch.

“This event honors Zonta’s 20-year tradition of introducing unique homes but goes a step beyond,” chair of fundraising and Zontian Judy Langley said. “Currently, we can’t take Peekers on a tour of the great work being done in our island homes, so we created an event to connect homeowners with knowledgeable, local professional firms and designers who do this work, showcasing the latest trends.”

The sponsors and presenters for the program are Architecture Joyce Owens, Clive Daniel Home, Dan Hahn Custom Builders, John Grey Painting, R.S. Walsh Landscaping, and VIP Realty Group.

Founder and principal architect at Architecture Joyce Owens, Joyce Owens creates spaces and places that are both environmentally sensitive and culturally appropriate for their setting. Her client list ranges as far afield as Italy and the United Kingdom. She and her firm have received numerous design awards, including “Best of Gulfshore 2021” for architecture and a merit award from the American Institute of Architects for The Island Village on Captiva.
